Below you will find the talented work of my students who were all given a choice of reference images to use and then given the freedom to stylize their still life towards whomever artist they were interested in. 
The assignment required them to create a reference board (on the left) where they could note the colors, brush marks, textures, or any other element of an artists work that they would incorporate into their own piece.
This work is from the 2020 spring semester at Laguna College of Art & Design.
